The 50th Anniversary special is currently exporting, but I figured I would go ahead and release this bonus reaction to the two preceding minisodes to hold you over.

They are fully edited so you do NOT need your own copy of the minisodes.

Appreciate posting early, was able to watch this before leaving on a trip home. Looking forward to the reaction!

Night of the Doctor, imo,is absolutely the best of the minisodes. It tells a complete story (character, humour, horror and surprise) inside 8 minutes. McGann is so good - we need MORE!!

At least we got all those Big Finish radio dramas with him. Not exactly firm canon or anything to the story, but they're fun to listen to regardless.

if you're ever up for it paul mcgann's eighth doctor audio dramas are really good!!! his doctor has a very different tone than he does in the movie, some insanely dark and fucked up stories, and that's what I felt like they leaned into for his minisode :) sooooo excited to see the 50th w you!!!!!

"I have no idea what it's about, but now I'm super excited!" And that's how you know these minisodes were perfect. 😁

Kind of sad you knew it was a Paul McGann minisode going into it. That was a spoiler for sure. When it first aired, we had NO idea he was in it, so when he said "I'm a Doctor, perhaps not the one you were expecting" it hit SOOOO hard!!! But, I'm so happy you got to see Paul in his element as the 8th Doctor. His Big Finish stuff is amazing. The companions names he rattled off are from Big Finish which makes the Big Finish stuff true canon now.
