Trigger #124: The Fast Food Body Thief

Subjects: Peggy Smith and Trent Masterson

In the upper-class suburbia of Sunnyvale, California, there is a Pig-Burger fast food restaurant, identical to the many other locations in its chain worldwide. However, on one fateful day, local rich boy Trent Masterson decided to berate and harass his cashier, the financially struggling Peggy Smith, or "Piggy" as he degradingly referred to her. I'm still trying to lock down the exact source of the magic (perhaps a latent ability activated by stress?), however something inside Peggy snapped, and she was able to astrally project her soul into Trent's body, sending his own soul catapulting into hers.

Aside from the usual adjustment period to having her gender suddenly swapped, Peggy, who will be now referred to as Trent, found he enjoyed being a spoiled rich boy, and relished watching the new Peggy squirm and struggle in his old body. The new Peggy did not acclimate to her new gender and life nearly as well as her counterpart, and struggled through the entirety of her first shift, her new assets, tight uniform, and lack of any form of training reducing her to a bumbling mess. She then broke down into tears when told by Trent she would be doing it all over again tomorrow when he decided to keep her body and simply walk out of the restaurant with it. Peggy didn't dare tell anyone that her body had been stolen, knowing fully well no one would believe her plight.

Trent would often return to the location to mock Peggy's struggles, but soon grew bored with tormenting her former tormentor, and decided to go with his family on an extended vacation to Europe, leaving Peggy stranded in her body and straddled with her debts. Luckily for her, I happened to be in the area, and was able to notice the tell-tale signs of Body Dysphoria during my chance visit to this location. I was unfortunately unable to lift Peggy's curse and return her old body and life. Some dark magic runs too deep to be untangled even by my pen. At first, she was devastated, understandably so. However, with time she started to accept her fate, even enjoying her new body and life more than her old one. According to her, her new family and friends are much more loving than her pervious ones, who were only interested in her money, and she's starting to take an interest in the simple joys of being a woman. With hard work, she's recently been promoted to the assistant manager of her local Pig-Burger, and couldn't be more excited to continue serving up smiles.

Silver linings aside, I can't allow a Class 2 Body Hopper to run amok and do as they please. Not all victims of bodycrime are as lucky as Peggy. Thus, after doing all I could to help Peggy acclimate to her new life, I'm booking the next available flight to Europe in pursuit of Mr. Masterson.
