So dropping this innane trivia here because where else am I gonna put it: Originally my idea leaned a bit more into sitcom shenanigans: both the slacker and the friend were going to set themselves up as TG'd blind dates for each other. For better or worse, I couldn't make the sequence of events "work" until I cut it down to just the slacker. 😅
