Hey y'all!

I'm going on summer vacation the 25th to the 31st and I needed something quick and easy I could post as buffer while I'm on break, so I made a comic based on Mister and I's superhero characters, Brick and Mortar!

As usual, I went a little overboard, but here's my silly little new comic strip about the sex lives of superheroes and other shenanigans that I hope I can find time to make more of between my other work! I hope you enjoy!

Heatstroke's X-Ray design inspired by ACKER'S OC Teka https://www.patreon.com/ackers

Also also took some heavy inspiration for Brick's armor from Fallout's Excavator Power Armor

Have a nice vacation Mira! I want to say something ominous but I don’t really feel like threatening you so… idk, have a good time or else you’ll have a bad one.

TashaTheWitchQueen

That sounds like a lovely night! 🥰 Also poor Heatstroke, gotta agree pretty unprofessional 😂 Nice lil piece Mira

Texbot

Fantastic. So that was Mortar in the Pride Parade comic, not Gumshoe? Also “Brakabrakabraka”? Is that Vegeta’s blast sound effect from TFS? Also, sounds like someone is gonna get slammed down big style.

StarGazer

This can literally not get any cuter! Love it

TashaTheWitchQueen

Oh and yes yes Please enjoy your vacation! Be safe and have fun!

The Transformistress

Yeah, I finally decided to name her Mortar bc the duo name "Brick and Mortar" was just too good. Mortar bc she's sticky, stretchy and she hits like a MISSILE c:

Texbot

Either name is great, but you gotta love a good couple Hero Name. There are two few in the biz.

Lady_Gendercide257

Hey, I’m just saying, “bazooka” feels like you’re trying to sound cool without putting thought into it making sense. Mortar sounds cool while also making sense in the context of her powers AND her partner being called “Brick”.

BlackCat1989

This is great! I hope Brick and Mortar appear in more of your works in the future. Enjoy your break, you deserve it. I wonder, are B&M your version of Marvel Comic's Cloak and Dagger? If so, I'm very glad you have appreciation of that underrated duo.

Sad Dragon

"I needed something quick to do so I can have it done" makes a 3 page multi-panel comic

Sad Dragon

But fr this looks great 👍

Kitsuie

Oh my gosh I need her bubblegum hair RIGHT NOW

Kitsuie

And the little blush as she puts on the mask… cute touch!!!

Kitsuie

Also if seen… why is she called Mortar? I feel like I’m missing the obvious…

The Transformistress

Thank you! It's because she's sticky and stretchy and hits like a missle. Plus, the moniker of "Brick and Mortar" was too good to pass up. I went through a lot of names for her, Gumgal, Gumshoe, Bazooka, Bubblegun, but I think this one fits best thematically despite her being made of bubblegum and not actual mortar...

Kitsuie

Okay… I get the naming convention… but you missed “Bubble-bum” as a name… but regardless I love all the names… despite what a certain lord has said

The Transformistress

OKAY, I AM TOTALLY USING "BUBBLE-BUM" THE NEXT TIME A VILLAIN INSULTS MORTAR, THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION ❤️

Kitsuie

Haha!!! You know it’s good when you all caps. Also forgot to mention, have fun on the vaycay!!!!

Kitsuie

And ya welcome

LiliraunaLuv42

Mira I think you came up with a really great construction worker themed hero/icon that's really cool! And I'm saying the world hasn't had a cool construction like figure like this guy since "Transformers Devastator!"

LiliraunaLuv42

Have a lovely Vacation Mira! Enjoy yourself! You earned it!

SelkieKitsu

1. Have a wonderful vacation, Mira! 2. Omg I need a full series with these 2 like, yesterday. This is so cute and funny!

DarkMagics

Have a nice vacation Mira! I hope to see more of B&M! I wonder if they are part of a team of other heroes in Sala City. Maybe a group of “Sala City Sentinels”, or some other superheroey team name!

Vtsparks

Absolutely freaking lovely! Hope ya enjoy ya vacation mira!

ComicTF

It's all a part of their tactics. If they can get him flustered enough he might overheat and collapse of his own. It'd fit his namesake.

Wild Card

I think that I've run Champions sessions that went like that at one point. Forgotten villain ended up just hanging out in the corner, eating popcorn and watching the action (then teleporting away when remembered)

Violet Velvet

A bit late to the party, but very cute Mira! Enjoy your vacation!
