most of my issue with thriller bark stems from sanji and absolom and that a solid chunk of the humor doesn't land for me but I still think it's a solid arc

So merphy lol. Thriller bark is probably the most disliked arc besides the long ring arc the villains were just boring imo but the part where Luffy pushes the zombie back into the ground is probably one of the greatest pieces of comedy in any medium.

The reason alot of people dislike Thriller Bark is in large part due to finding the Sanji revelation disgusting, which I cant say I disagree with although it doesnt drag it as far down for me as it does others. Also there are those who just dont vibe with the whole "spooky but goofy" Scooby Doo-esque thing.

I love Thriller Bark. It's again a nice change of tone like LRLL. Thriller Bark is one of the funniest arcs I think.
