Another amazing episode as always! ENDING DRESSROSA WITH A BANGER!! I was happy to find out that the arc ended up in your top 5, too! 26:40 I understand your feelings on how Sabo was handled. I was once like you for quite a while until the OP community opened my mind to what Oda was going for and truly intended. It was through them that there was an enlightenment that was found lost. Sabo had moments growing up that'd trigger and reactivate lost feelings and memories, but there was nothing that was the right catalyst to get him there. It was only the combination of reading that Ace had died at the hand of Sakazuki(which means an exchange of cups of rice wine*sake*) Akainu and a picture of Luffy crying over Ace's body. That pushed Sabo over the edge into the revelation of who he truly was. It's a prime example of being lost in the translation of what Oda had in mind all along. It was an exchange of cups as a child that changed his life and healed his broken heart, and it was a breaking of one that mended his mind back together completely. Also, Sabo gets a pass on losing his memory because he took a BAZOOKA to the FACE as a CHILD and lived. 1:03:25 is another awesome example of why we NEED live reactions! They'd be genuine and pure🙈🙉🙊 to who you really are! 2:07:10 Awakened Devil fruits were introduced by Crocodile all the way back in Alabasta. He was bragging that he couldn't be defeated by a newbie like Luffy because unlike a relative new DF user who just uses the base powers of what they observe they have, he has honed and perfected his fruit to its highest potential due to years of training and insight of what their fruit could be. Other examples of awakened fruit users are the zoan "Demon" guards of Impel Down and the admirals. 2:11:40 Kaido doesn't want to die. He's just BORED TO DEATH for something and anything to happen. 2:17:08 Now that you have finished Dressrosa, I highly recommend checking out GrandLineReview's Dressrosa Documentary to get a good sense of what the global OP community was going through with Dressrosa. It's pretty funny and will have you cracking up laughing throughout it. https://youtu.be/zzm9C5fjwhA Fun fact: Monet and Sugar are biological sisters. Monet(17 yo) and Sugar(9 yo) when Doffy found them, which is after Law left the family and Corazon died. So if you'd ever wondered what Sugar would look like if she didn't stop aging, then look toward Monet to get a better sense of an idea. Okay! That's it! Bye!
