What a fucking ride and what a FANTASTIC finale. Been a while since I have enjoyed a finale as much I did this one, covered everything I could have dreamed of and I am so happy everyone gets their happy ending 😭

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

Yay! Harry you've been there from the very beginning of YR and we love you so much for your thoughtful attention to this show. YR 4Eva 👑💜

"Crisis" is the book that Wilhelm, Sara, Simon and Henry had to do a group work on in S2. Through this group work, Wilhelm and Simon were able to communicate sensibly with each other about their problems for the first time

Yesssss! 👏🏼🎉 I am just about to watch this but first I just want to say thank you for all your Young Royals reactions, Harry. I have been watching them since the beginning of season 1 and I have really enjoyed your insights and thoughtful comments. I hope you will be able to find the time to react to Young Royals Forever, the documentary about the making of the show. It’s wonderful. ❤️👑❤️

My brain was trying so hard to tell me smthn about a book but I just couldn't remember so thank you!!

Small detail on the side: When Wilhelm speaks to Simon in the library, he still has a book in his hand and is looking at it: "Crisis". Coincidence? Not with a series like Young Royals^^

There’s soooo much to say about this episode, but I am going to restrain myself and just say a couple of things that struck me in particular. Firstly, I knew as soon as Wille ditched the shattered frog prince snow globe that he was going to abdicate, because that had been such a powerful symbol throughout the entire series, both of his relationship with Erik because he gave it to him and of everything involved in being the Crown Prince. Secondly, when Simon said that he had never given up on them, but he had given up on the Royal Family and afterwards, Wille looked back at Malin, I interpreted it as Wille thinking about the life he really wanted for himself and beginning to see what he had to do. He couldn’t have done it before this because prior to his moments at the party with August, he hadn’t been able to forgive him or accept that he could be king. It would have seemed like allowing August to ‘win’, after causing so much damage. Now Wille can let go of that need for revenge, ironically, August is, in a way, being punished, because he can’t be with Sara and is going to realise all too well that what he always thought he wanted, to be Crown Prince and then king, is, as Vincent said, tough! I must also admit that at this point, I was looking at the clock, thinking, ‘There’s still time!’ and -like you- trying to keep the faith…I was always hoping for endgame, even from the bleakest moment in season 1. What a fabulous ending to a completely wonderful series. ❤️👑❤️ It’s been a wild ride at times, but the acting, the writing, the cinematography, the music, it’s all been amazing. I have enjoyed a lot of shows and movies, but Young Royals has touched me in ways that nothing else has done and I can’t imagine ever tiring of watching it. Thanks, Harry, for sharing your thoughts and feelings throughout. It’s been great seeing the show in your excellent company.

Another tiny, but significant detail pointed out by someone extremely observant (not me) is that the little figure on the graduation gift/necklace that the queen gives to August is actually a green frog. 🤯 Loved to watch you get the abdication ending that you have predicted for SO long 🏵️

veri✨

yay! gonna watch tomorrow since i cant watch these on my phone unforch

Loved this ending. Love that everything kind of linked back to Sara’s original point of fighting for and giving second chances to relationships you believe truly provide what you need to become the best version of you and we see the whole episode kind of revolved around that theme of recognising those relationships. So many shows end unfinished or rushed but this felt so perfectly crafted; not everyone got what they wanted but everyone got what they needed. This was definitely one of my favourite tv show finales for sure.

Also if you were wondering Netflix have official playlists for most of there shows on Spotify, so you can find all of the music from Young Royals on there

wille throwing the snow globe away was 100% symbolism for him throwing away the crown, im so glad you caught that cause so many people miss it. and august getting that frog thingy around his neck from kristina was symbolism for him taking over after wille. god i love this show, theres so much symbolism and so many parallels you can pick up on when you rewatch

lisa mcarthur

One thing which I think is especially touching is that Simon’s version of the school song is sung at graduation and Lisa, the head writer of the show said in an interview before the final season dropped, that it’s a song that’s also intended as a love song to the fans of the show, commemorating and celebrating our response to the show. ❤️

Dennis Verner

I always enjoy reading all these comments as it's so good to see how much and how strongly this show has affected all of us. I don't think we celebrate the writing of Lisa and her crew nearly enough. This story was so carefully plotted that even though a great many changes were made to the script through all the seasons, the arc of the story never wavered. As Lisa has said, "Everything in the script is there for a reason." There was never an instance of "Chekhov's gun" that wasn't fired. The strength of the grip of the Crown represented by Erik and drilled into Wilhelm from the very beginning meant that it was impossible for Wilhelm and Simon to be together. Lisa made it clear that the only way that Wilhelm and Simon's love could endure was that Erik had to die a second time.

Dennis Verner

I've been watching Harry since Julie and the Phantoms. Although, he talks me to death.

Ruth May

😂 But what he says is interesting and thoughtful. I find that Harry with a glass of something nice goes down very well.
