Haven’t watched this yet, but can i just say i adore Landon? I had absolutely zero idea i’d love this character so much. He’s that green flag/forest character, who gives off sweet, awkward, smart, clumsy vibes and wow, definitely had a shortage of that in latest shows i’ve watched, always making up hardcore, bad boy lead men.. thank you legacies haha. i’m this surprised about liking his character cause people, when this show came out, used to dislike him, saying he takes up too much of the show, but i don’t understand why he wouldn’t? Shows most of the time revolve around the main character and whoever the main lead is as a man so now that i’m watching this with you, i don’t get the negativity tbh. That’s all i wanted to say, excited to watch your reaction!!

PEOPLE DIDNT LIKE LANDON???? He might genuinely be my favourite character im ngl. Like u said, having a really sweet man who is just a giant green flag is (for some reason) so rare in TV. He's such a cutie as well, I just wanna always give him a hug as that boy be struggling 😭

Most people don't like Landon because they ship hope with other people. I think the hate towards Landon is like the hate that Camille got in the originals because people thought she wasn't good looking or just wanted Klaus with Caroline. And I don't think you noticed but when lizzie went to hug hope at the end you could see hopes crescent birth mark on her back. Most of the time in the show they forget to add that detail but this is one of the few times they remembered it. (Also not sure if you know but a large part of why Camille was killed off in the originals is because the actress got death threats and wanted to leave the show. Not for sure but people said the people that wanted Caroline and Klaus together bullied her off the show.)
