Shannon died in the last episode (And let's be real. As much as I love 911, it was because she decided to divorce Eddie, therefore removing her usefulness as a love interest). Now, Ali's broken up with Buck after a pretty non-existent on-screen relationship. Due to the size of the main cast, it's hard to focus screen time or character development onto side characters, which is why a lot of the relationships that feel more substantial (Buck/Abby in S1, Bobby/Athena, and Maddie/Chimney) have been between mains. Given this, do you think that any potential future love interest for Buck or Eddie stands much of a chance if they aren't part of the main cast, also?

i always headcanon buck as an amputee or even with severe chronic pain bc no way in hell is a FIRETRUCK CRUSH INJURY not bringing lifelong struggles. buck should not have his leg.

just a reminder, because i remember you asking to be notified when it happened, but 3x02 and 3x03 is a two-parter :))

any theories/expections on season 3? :)

Nice fun fact: Oliver Stark, who plays Buck, said that the scene where all the civilians rush to help lift the engine is among the scenes that never fail to make him cry ❤️

During the livestream at the beginning of this episode, some of the comments (about Buck and Eddie) say, "They should be a couple!!!" and "OMG those two are So CUTE together!" I know you've mentioned being cautious about shipping Buddie because of queerbaiting experiences you've had in the past and I totally get that. I'm not going to speak on what the future of 911 holds, but in your opinion, at what point do you think a show -- in general -- steps over the line from letting people ship what they want into queerbaiting? If you don't mind me asking, what shows or forms of content have you been notably burned by?
