In the last episode, Chimney and Eddie discussed "the family you're born into vs. the family you choose." We've also seen plenty of examples that the 911 crew, in general, has crappy parents. Do you think people with more complicated bonds with their birth families are more likely to form fierce found families, and do you think their troubled parentage is part of the reason why the 118, in particular, is so tight?

Buddie aside, there's no doubt that we've been seeing more of a Buck/Eddie/Chris dynamic in S3. From "there's no one I trust with my son more than you" to playing video games together to "It's Eddie's house. I'm not really a guest." During the Christmas episode and the party last episode, Buck is shown seated with Chris pretty consistently. In this episode, we have the skateboard scene. How would you define the role that Buck is currently playing in Chris's life? Would you say that Buck's and Eddie's friendship dynamic is different than Hen's and Chim's (or Hen's and Athena's) best friend dynamic? Would you say that Buck's role in Chris's life is different than Chim's or Athena's role in Denny's?

Just realized upon watching last episode that I had another question I forgot to post🥲 so I’ll just ask it here! Although Albert is an absolute sweetheart, do you think the rest of the team (especially hen, being his best friend) could have, and an maybe should have, been more sensitive to the fact that meeting him would be difficult for Chimney given his childhood and history with his father? Or at least picked up on the fact that he was struggling? I always feel so bad for Chimney watching this episode and a bit disappointed no one was more understanding of his feelings
