FAQ for anyone new:

WHAT IS QUESTION TIME?: Here you can ask me ANY questions related to the episode or show as a whole, literally whatever you want, I mean it lol. Because I only read them after finishing the episode, feel free to include any spoilers relating to the episode, just no spoilers after that point!HOW DOES IT WORK?: Ask anything you want about these episodes or the ones before, but avoid any future spoilers!! Also be sure to add the episode that the question is about at the top of your post, or else I will have to avoid reading it until the last episode, just incase there are spoilers

HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE?: As I do not follow a strict schedule when it comes to recordings, its best to get them in asap to ensure I will get to them. That said, feel free to post whenever! EPISODE 9: Do you think it was really manipulative that Eddie told Kim the whole situation and thought they were done but she showed up dressed as Shannon? Crazy work.

EPISODE 10: FUN FACT: I know we spoke about this earlier in the season but Tommy/Eddie was originally what they had in mind but then they kept changing it so when they took it to the actors, Ryan Guzman (Eddie) passed it to Oliver Stark because he believed Eddie’s coming out storyline would be a bit more serious especially with his background. Like he loved Shannon yeah but the only reason he married her was because she was pregnant and the church. In s5 when he was having panic attacks over being with Ana. Moving so quickly with Marisol. Just a plain disaster with woman. QUESTION: What do you think Chris leaving means for Eddie and how that storyline will look? Do you hate Eddie’s parents as much as me? They’ve always wanted Christopher for themselves (see Eddie begins) and instead of helping their own son who’s going through something, they make the situation worse by taking Christopher away. On another note, it’s funny because no matter how friendly/brotherly people think Buddie is and that it’s never gonna happen, they STAYY acting like a married couple. Like yes those are Christophers dad’s.

Season 8 Episode 1: What do you think of the moustache? The fandom were so unsure when Ryan debuted it before s8 filming started but the fandom grew to LOVE it. He’s kinda sexy with it.

Episode 9 (I know you already watched this one but I missed it last week): What I find interesting is that the note Chris got from Shannon was when she first left while Eddie and Chris were still in El Paso, TX. So while Shannon and Eddie were reconnecting when in LA, he never brought up how he felt about her leaving or that he didn’t get a letter. They never really talked about anything other than Chris from what we can gather. Eddie and Shannon were really only together for less than 2 years when you add up all the time in between marriage, deployment, pregnancy, and then their time in LA. To me, Eddie has built up this idea of his relationship with Shannon in his mind. Maybe in a way to not tarnish her memory? I don’t know. There are clues of this rose colored lens when he was daydreaming about Shannon (a few episodes ago while he was eating with Marisol), they are sitting up in bed talking, about Chris, the bedroom looks completely different than how it did in season 2 (color of wall, headboard, lamps etc.). Leading us to believe that this is more of a sort of fantasy than a memory. He even admitted that they barely spent any time together when talking to Kym. How much do you think Eddie’s idea of love and how to go about finding it comes from actual reality?

Episode 10: FUN FACTS: 1. So this season was described by show creator Tim Minear as laying down the train tracks while the train is already going. Cast and crew spoke about how often times they’d get the drafts of a script the night before shooting and a final draft not happening till the episode was edited. Because of the shorten season and timeline, there were many storylines that were hastily put together but its, I believe, a testament to the cast and crew (many of whom have been with the show since season 2) that they were able to accomplish as much as they did. 2. There is a reason they made the decision for Christopher to leave with his grandparents to justify some real world adjustments. I’ll give that insight at the end of season 8 episode 1. 3. Here is a link to a blooper from this episode of the cast trying to get through their lines - they were so tired, bless them. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-TfNEQBWFG/?igsh=MWxybjloYjdkbG1lNw%3D%3D QUESTION/DISCUSSION: 1. Eddie’s parents. I think that thing that gets me angry with them is that clearly your son is hurting. He needs help. So your best course of action is to guilt trip him into giving his son to you for however long?? He’s your son, first. 2. How do you think Christopher leaving will affect Buck, too? I feel like he also becomes collateral damage of this storyline with very little control on how it plays out. 3. So Athena will probably never learn to ask or call for back up. Thank god it tends to work out, however her methods are questionable. What I do love is that Amir was cleared and ended up safe. 4. What this show does well is drive home the message of family and how they are there for one another: May and Harry comforting Bobby and Athena, Chim and Maddie keeping the family together with Hen and Karen, and Buck and Eddie leaning on each other with Christopher’s leaving.

SEASON 8 EPISODE 1: FUN FACTS: 1. So Christopher. Behind the scenes, the actor who played Christopher, along with his family, had recently moved to Atlanta Georgia which made planning and shooting season 8 a lot more difficult (Gavin is not the only family member who is an actor and the family had to make arrangements to satisfy as much as possible - Atlanta is where big blockbuster movies are being filmed now). They came up with the storyline of Christopher leaving with his grandparents, to excuse. 2. So Eddie’s mustache came about because during the summer before shooting began, Ryan grew it out and sent a picture to Kenny (who plays Chim) as a joke. Kenny sent that picture to Tim and Ryan Murphy and they wrote it into the show (there’s a reason he has it). Ryan had no idea what it would become. There are video the cast made behind the scenes worshipping the mustache. QUESTION/DISCUSSION: 1. What do you hope Eddie learns with Christopher being away? This is the first time he has been on his own since he got married at 18. 2. Thoughts on Bobby’s new gig and Brad Torrence? 3. Did you find it interesting that Buck was the punching bag for Gerrard rather than Chim and Hen? 4. Do you think Buck wanted to hurt Gerrard or save him? 5. Do you think there is a part of Eddie that recents the attention his parents pay to Christopher that wasn’t given to him? We know that Eddie was told to be the man of the house in his father’s absence when he was 10. Eddie has also expressed the fear his parents were trying for s re do with Christopher. 6. I like when the show leans into Buck’s strengths in outside the box thinking, even when Eddie is the one that has to be chased by bees! I’ve never seen Buck as being someone who is dumb, rather he tends to make rash decisions mid-spiral when he can’t pin down his emotions. 7. DO NOT TAKE THE EPI PEN ADDITIONAL DOSAGE TO HEART.
