Great ending to a great season. SO happy that Benedict and Sophie get to be together out in the open, the idea of having to hide away was painful to say the least. Now the wait for S5 begins, and I am SO excited to get there!!

I find it so cute that after growing up in such a dingy and dark home Cressida decided to make her own home light and pink!

I totally agree about the pay off to the Lady in Silver reveal, it was one of my main issues this season. That was such a big part of the first half of the season and they seemed to drop it completely in the second half. So when Benedict realised who she was I thought we’d get a proper confrontation but instead it was like it really didn’t matter in the story at all which kind of makes the whole Cinderella aspect pointless in the story.

In the book Benedict and Sophie do end up having to move to the country because the ton doesn’t buy Sophie as a noble, but it’s still a happy ending. I almost would’ve preferred that given how high the stakes were this season and it would’ve fit in with Benedict’s theme of rejecting societal norms. Also would break the predictable trend of the Queen smoothing everything over for the Bridgertons.

I simply cannot WAIT for Fran and Michaela next season! The “forbidden” aspect of their love is bound to give us so much more pining than we’ve seen on the show so far. And from what I see, I don’t think Fran actually has feelings for Michaela yet & doesn’t realise she’s queer so watching her go on that journey too will be so interesting.

I do understand Violet not wanting to get married now and her reasons for it, but I was so excited to see her get married and be happy again lol. I know she doesn't need to marry to be happy. She was just so in love with Edmund, and I wanted that for her again, but I guess we will see how things go lol

@39:50 I find this so curious, that you didn’t think there was enough to make us care about the Mondrich family before. They were a really significant part of season one and the duke’s story, and Pen’s season … it’s always been one of the interesting class stories … maybe it just didn’t capture your attention?

I loved that “ending” (non-ending) for Violet and Marcus. I think they’ll get together eventually, but, I love what he did. She always seemed vaguely guarded and hesitant, and when he told her he loved her, she never replied in kind, she wouldn’t say I love you back. As important as her choice was, so was his - that’s why they’re a match. Marcus didn’t want to hide and sneak around like a teenager and not be able to be together; they’re adults. And that’s so fair, and I think it makes sense.

I’m guessing the new Whistledown is the Queen - nothing but free time (esp. without Agatha); she missed her the most and was always competing with her. Also the, “we’re going to have so much fun” in just that way, is something the Queen said earlier in the show.
