Brutal episode given the themes explored, but loved the connections we had to Hotch's homelife. Hope we get to see some development in the future as there have been a few issues with his work-life balance that have popped up already 👀 guess we will see

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

How are you doing after your op? Glad you enjoyed this episode. We haven't dealt with many child cases at all so far, this is one of those episodes, I don't rewatch it a whole lot, but when I do it really sucks me in. Hotch's story is such an interesting one. For me, Hayley is just speaking her feelings and that's valid, but she also knew what she was signing up for when she got with Hotch, when he went to the FBI it would have been a conversation, especially because of the training the agents have to go through, I feel like they must have talked it to death, however Jack didn't sign up for not having his dad around and he is so young at this point. My question to Hayley is why didn't you call Hotch before the appointment if you know what he's like? Why didn't you remind him in the morning before he left for work? You already know the pressures of the job he is under, so a simple call or text to be like "don't forget the appointment today" might have been a good communication tool as well. Rather than waiting until after the appointment to be like "your kid wanted you" but also, Hotch should utilise his calendar, maybe set reminders for important things like that. I can kind of see it from both angles, even if Hotch isn't arguing the point, he knows he messed up and that it's on him when it is, I just feel that Hayley knows him, she knows her husband etc. I'm always reminding my partner of things that are important to me, he gets like a 1 week reminder, then again a few days later, then again in the morning, because it's important to me.
