Loved the topics explored this episode! Good to see that they're focusing on much more than just the medical side of the show, has me hooked on the characters already

Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

They have not given any more details on who Jake is yet.

BP cycling means the blood pressure cuff is not picking up his blood pressure. Which makes the cuff re-inflate and deflate over and over. In this case, because the patient’s BP is so low. La Forte III fracture is the worst level of facial fracture. It involved the frontal bone, maxilla, and zygomatic (if I remember correctly). As far as the interpersonal dynamic within the show, 100% realistic. In the ED (emergency medicine as a whole) have very big personalities. Dark humor and banter is very true to life.

You are the GOAT for all the medical knowledge! Very much appreciate it as I am far too nosy 😂

Glad I could be of help! I’ll add a comment after each episode to answer any questions you may have that I have insight on.

I think that one of the most unique things about this show is that they chose to have NO background music. The only background sounds are things that you would hear in the ER. Beeping machines, conversations, and nothing to pull you away from what is happening.
