Definately a different vibe to our usual 911 but was a very fun episode all round! Was honestly nice to have a break from the stress and just giggle for an hour 😂

The South is weird about swearing. Tennessee is the buckle of the Bible Belt, and Southern Hospitality is something that Southerns take real big pride in, so swearing with real swear words is generally not something we do. Especially not in front of 1. old people, 2. people we just met, 3. Authority figures, 4. children, 5. family. Don't you dare say "hell" in front of Meemaw. She'll chase you down the street with a wooden spoon if you're lucky, and a switch if you're not. Instead, we have replacement words that we use that can be interchanged with any of the regular swear words that get the point across. "Shucks" "Hoot" and "Dagnabbit" are some of the common ones. If Ms. Sally-Anne at the grocery store says she "don't give a hoot about Little Bobby's new girlfriend" we know she doesn't give a flying fuck about Little Bobby's new girlfriend. The real swear words are usually reserved for close friends, Big Feelings over a Big Event, and old folk who gave up on giving a damn 75 years ago and can't wait to be ashes in an urn. We also have passive-aggressive, backhanded phrases that'll hurt your feelings if you think about them too hard. "Bless your heart" is not a good thing, but it's rude to tell someone they're dumb as shit, so they'll just pray for them instead.
