This is still one of my fav SPN episodes in all 15 seasons purely because I love the Bloody Mary urban legend. Love the reveal for Sam as well, and the ending scene + music is always 👌🏽 (have not watched it yet so idk if the music is the OG song). Can't wait to watch this w dinner tonight!

It's a dumb thing to feel guilty about, really. Let's say he had warned her and told her, that he dreamed that she died. What would that have changed? For one, Jessica wouldn't have believed him. For another, say she would have, what would that have changed? There is nothing she could have done to save her self. Also, Sam didn't know when (if at all) it would happen, so he also shouldn't feel guilty to go away for one weekend. It's not like he dreamed that tomorrow she dies, and then leaves for that exact day.

One of my favorite Season 1 episodes! I’ve been watching and rewatching Supernatural since I was in middle school and this one always freaked me out. A big thing Supernatural does is take different urban legends, myths, or folklore creations and either expands upon them or remixes them entirely. Ghost and demons are the most common and expected ones, but it’s always fun when you get the more unique entities like wendigos or the legend of Blood Mary and see what the show does with them!
