Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

It is amazing the difference it makes having someone who worked on Voyager and Enterprise and is a huge Trek fan as the show runner. Hopefully Paramount sees the difference. The phaser I thought was a cool update to the original series version. Another of the 100s of callbacks in this.

What if Jack is not Picard's son? Is it possible he is another changeling. Just not part of the rogue terrorist faction. Or is Jack seeing visions bc he is infected with another rare life force? Something that could spell the ruin of the changeling race if used as a weapon?

You do realize that a life time Trek fan (who was extremely knowledgable about the minutia of Trek) was the head writer of season one (not to mention is a Pulitzer Prize fiction writer). You do realize that life long Trek fan, and writer of Voyager (and a couple DS9) was the head writer of the first half of season 1 of Discovery. And there many people who decry that work. But least anyone forget the basic beats of the first two season of Picard were shaped very much on what type of story Patrick Stewart wanted to be a part in. He very much wanted to keep the show especially its first year as something that was very separate in tone and type of story that they would have told in TNG. In many ways its like blaming German for how little of TOS is a part of TNG, when it was in fact Roddenberry who insisted that they not tie the two shows closely together.
