I love the Heretics and season 7. The time jump way of telling the story is very interesting. It's 3 years in the future jump and the continuation of the season 6 timeline running parallel until they met in a present day format. So cool. Damon is brutally honest, but he is human too in his feelings, he loves Bonnie, but he hasn't stop being madly in love with Elena, he misses her, he was ready to give up his vampare side to start a family as human with her, so it's understandable he has some toughts and voice them to his best friends, Bonnie, and she knows that, and she loves and respect his honesty because it means that everything that comes out of his mouth is the absolute truth on how he feels and when he says to her things like "you are my best friend and if something would happen to you I woud loose my mind" he truly deeply means it. That is great quality of Damon, you don't get bs from him, that is one of the reason I love this character so much. Lilly got their house, actually Damon's house and took her fake family there....how much I dislike her coldness toward her real children, and how much she shove into their face how much she cares about her new family, it is not quantifiable. She is so dispicable.

It hurts my heart every time I see how Lilly treats her sons. The way she talks about Damon and Stefan and calls them monsters is inexcusable. She has totally failed as a mother and is behaving terribly.

Vampires can be killed by fire, so yes an explosion would kill them as well. It would have to damage their heart or head I believe, or they would be able to heal from it if they got away. It wouldn't kill an Original tho, we've seen both Elijah and Rebekah be in explosions and live. As for the heart thing, it's an intriguing question, but I think once it's removed from their body then they are dead

The way Lily tre as treats her sons is something I will comment on later.

The peace treaty that Stefan and Caroline made with Lily and the heretics might seen to pacify the current situation for the moment, but not in the long run. The Gemini coven puts them away for a reason, and how Lily refers to her sons as monsters and the heretics' behavior, well, it is only a matter of time until things explode. Pointing the finger at someone means that three are pointing back at you, and this is regarding Lily calling her sons monsters when she is three times more of a monster than her sons. I mean, the woman had to be put in a prison world due to her behavior. The way Lily wants to keep her “family together” while neglecting her sons is a mirror to something else we saw at the beginning of the series, but on the other side of that mirror, there was something good.
