Devlog: The Lore & Journal Update (Patreon)

With your support I have been able to acquire some new Art assets for The Augur, this has allowed me to start working on a much more revamped UI. The new Lore & Journal update will add a new window  that allows you to add lore, text and pictures to any object in the game. 

I have purchased the whole affinity suite (Photo, Publisher and Designer) and I am blown away by all the possibilities it brings for the content I will create from now on. The picture you see above is a mock-up of how I want the new UI to look in-game.

Slowly getting to the desired result, a lot of things to add still since I intend to make the new Lore window very reactive and allow users to customize whatever object or character they are viewing. You will be able to change the portrait, avatar, description, name and more from this window and you will be able to write anything you want on the text area. I also intend to add "topics", to each object so you can create and view different text entries for each object or character. 

Eventually I will redo the Journal into this new UI style as well. I think that having this new UI will elevate the quality of the experience and give it a more professional look.
