This may be my favorite Zelda series you've done so far on the channel, which surprises me since Majora's Mask is my favorite to play. Not only is it nostalgic to watch this playthrough, but I love the genuine responses and curiosity to enemies, side quests, etc.--and the pixel art is so charming and timeless! I have to say though, I am glad you found some more bottles and the bug net during the last couple of episodes! I personally didn't mind the rewind feature as much (if you wanted to still use it) since you were unintentionally playing on a hard mode, but it's nice that you have some more options for healing and potions. As always, thanks for the daily episode!

I really wish people would just let you play and enjoy games how you want and like. Its about your first experience playing a game not theirs. I know its not easy, but please try to ignore these people, there will always be some who are like that. Dont understand why its so important for them how "skilled" or "good" someone is playing. And even the rewind Feature. Sure, it would be "better" if you wont overuse it (and i dont think you did), but even if you would do it, thats your decision. Im not watching and enjoying a first playtrough based on the fact how good someone is at a game. I just want to re-experience a game that i like or love by watching a person playing that game and seeing their solutions and reactions. Keep up the good work Mapo and thank you really much for playing another Zelda game. (Really happy that you decided to play the 2D ones as well).

Damn dude you crushed the Ice Palace… I was stuck here for so long the first time I played it, props!

TigerDrop

Don't listen to the backseaters. Play how you prefer, Mapo :D

The Ice Palace is hard first time and you totally owned it! Thanks for giving the authentic experience a try, it made finding the Blue Mail and Fairy room that much more rewarding. Great episode

not sure if this counts as a spoiler cause you would never find this out in-game unless you tried it yourself cause the game never explains this, but those skull orb things that bounce around rooms are actually interactible. try using an item on it.

I did actually enjoy watching you learn where enemies where and see you improve. While I'm personally against rewind or save states, I will watch you regardless. You having fun and not getting burnt out from the game is the most important thing. Also if you start using it again, maybe just use some occasional save state and avoid rewind alltogheter? That reduce the amount of cheesing possible and still means you get a taste of the punishment for dying - but let you move on when you get fed up enough. A middle-ground.

Great stuff. Personally I enjoy you playing however you prefer, after all that is the Mapocolops experience 😎💪🏼

That "push the block to the floor below" puzzle is still hard for me to remember how to do
