In regards to choosing characters, DMC 2 has 2 campaigns similar to Leon/Claire in RE2 where you play from different perspectives.

Your impression of the young lady will forever be in my head rent free xD So on point. Back in my young days - I played it on PS2 - I was so in love with DMC1 that 2 felt like a saltless meal. Some things aren't necesserily bad, but the use the made of them is... meh. I will be here, Boss, fateful in my gaming chair throne, waiting for you to laugh in the cutscenes. Take care!
