The Dark Bestiary: Chapter 3 - The Screaming Antelope | Kingdom Death: Monster

Yes, I say Chapter 4 near the start of this video, that's because it's the fourth video, but it REALLY is the 3rd Chapter aka Chapter 3. You know, as much as I love the Screaming Antelope I cannot at all recall my first game played against it, not even a single part of that showdown. It's probably not that surprising given how long ago it was and how many antelopes I've faced since, but the Gorm, Spidicules and the Crimson Crocodile all made a massive impression. In contrast, this monster with some of my favourite gear cards just slipped through the cracks of my memory. It's funny how it works like that and I can only assume that instead of Flattening my survivor to death on the first turn it instead was quite tame and normal (for a monster that is). I'd say the only real true negative I have about the Screaming Antelope is that I wish Blood Paint was a generic gear card instead of attached to this Node 2 monster. I've really come around on it and mellowed in the "Settlement Elder" part of my Kingdom Death experience, it's a great boss for new players to go against and playing with Justin (Playing Board Games) has made me appreciate the monster all over again through fresh eyes. I still want a Node 2 Danger Noodle aka Goose though.
