Full res version of the Elite Knight painting I shared on socials. Not what I usually share here but I figured y'all might like this one anyways. This was a personal rough painting I did to celebrate completing the last Soulsborne title I had left on my list - Dark Souls 2 SOTFS. Fantastic game, sits just under Elden Ring for me now -- what I wouldn't give to see their original vision.

This is just so gorgeous Sini!!! The sun setting in the horizon behind them and drapping them in a halo of light is so captivating, I love the way the armor reflects the light and how different the textures of the metal parts look, it adds so much visual interest to the piece. Seriously, well done ❤️‍🔥

I adore Dark Souls 2 because it was the first one I ever really played, I hate seeing the hate it gets, and getting to see art like this makes up for it SO much!!!!!

I had such a fun time with it this last time through! With how much emphasis seems to be on bosses in the new ones I really liked how much of an adventure 2 feels like, I enjoyed focusing on navigating the environment and dungeons so much.
