despite my comments yesterday, i'm really not happy with the current pace of progress on reborn. the mapping has stalled out for quite a while and there's still a ton to do. Although I enjoy it, after doing so much I'm starting to lose steam on filing in the details on every little place. Plus, the workload volume isn't going to decrease at all with how much we'll have to do in the post-game.

So, I'm pulling a couple more people onto the team. Some friends of mine have been volunteering to help out with stuff for a while and I'm finally letting them. They'll be finishing out the cliffs of the desert and dealing with my incessant nitpicking until that map and the Scrapyard are totally done, at which point I'll send them off to get started on the sidequest areas for E17.

This changes my approach entirely. Previously I was drilling myself on progress for the desert, but this way it's now going to be most efficient for me to dip out of there and start designing and outlining the other areas so that I can pass them off to Kanaya and Jazzy (our new mappers) to work on separately. That's more fun for me anyway. ^~^

I have high hopes for this!
