Wikk is the second son of the sin of Wrath. Under his father's eye he has been trained in fighting arts since childhood. His status and a formal military education eventually landed him a seat as captain on the front-lines of the resurging war.
And there's nowhere he'd rather be.
Six months prior his best mate, Flaxxen, had been on routine patrol near the Heavenly border. That day Flaxxen and his unit would be found, not just killed, but mangled, corpses hardly recognizable, and the only clue at the scene was a fistful of singed feathers.
The Angels that attacked had also kidnapped a Serac girl. She would be Wikk's key to finding Flaxxen's killer. No matter how many wings he had to cut to find her, he would avenge his friend.
