so i had company over for a few days and man i cannot focus worth a heckkkkk around others, i'll have to work on that. it's like, my new years resolution to get comfortable with people or something so like, get me that bridge-building kit.

but because of that this post is a day late. tragedy, i know. also a speed bump for AI because wow how 2 to do AI outlines without focus. idk dudes. though i still got a good chunk done in those days,

but all good now, back on track. animation reviews have been done for the backlog in testing and I think next time I do them will be a stream. If I don't start on sprites for USUM soon then maybe can do some art stream for starlight in the mean time or something. We haven't done one of those before. and like i said. missing y'all and stuff (blame AI-- for everything). I WILL SEE YOUR FACES IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO.

anyway, rewards. so we have that $10 trainer tier right? right. so we have post game coming up, right? right. not this episode but next, and one of my focuses for post game is making sure there is p l e n t y for players to do without burying myself in work for the next decade (which may be the case anyway but lol) and one of the things i've decided on is some kind of battle-tower esque situation. i don't really like the battle tower. but some people do. and it will be far from the only thing. but it is pretty high mileage, so i can see why it gets used in main series post game a lot.

however battle tower needs a lot of names.
like.
a lot of names.

wow hey check that out a reward for trainer names? wow hey we're running out of new trainers that will be present in the main game (and victory road was long since promised away to the former champions (which i just typo'd as champons (and that's really awkward.)))? that works out pretty well. it's almost like it's fate. so that's gonna be the thing with that from now on. those of you who have just recently been pledging may not see your trainers in the game for this episode-- but rest assured, they will be there in full force in 19. all you need is patience.
and patience is a virtue, but then what is its sin?
