okay so remember that composer who i said messages me and was like hey you want some songs for reborn and i was like cool and he was like cool and then we did that title theme?

well this has nothing to do with him.

but some other guy did the same thing so I let him pick what song he wanted to try redoing and he picked the pokemon center theme.
which is actually a pretty good choice, it was meant to be quiet and simple and calm before and like stepping out from a storm into somewhere serene
while still keeping the classic melody for that
but it was really simple and boring before too

so, he was like i'll redo that and sent me this and then it was like a week later because i procrastinate like a goddamn bitch and i didnt even listen to it until today
and i like it pretty well on its own, save for one point that stands out a little bit to me
but i would like to have your feedback on it as well before i send him mine, so that i can include it in turn! lemme know how you guys like it!

I like the 0:#5-1:05 section. Overall it fits with what I would expect from a Pokemon Center. If you chose not to use it for that, then Obsidea Department Store would enjoy this.

I would take out the drums and make the added sounds start later in their place, or change the drums to something more subtle and soothing, lower in sound. And slow down the overall tempo. And most important of all, KEEP the original melody in full, it is heaven. I'm sorry to say I can't like it much, though it's not bad. But I'd rather keep the original. ...also I have bone to pick with the chords, but I suck at terms and theory in music so I don't know how to explain it :/

Wait, in fact I know how to explain it. Cause it just dawned on me that I'd actually made a siple piano arrangement score sheet for said piece a while back. (I do this sort of thing occasionally when some song just gets in my head, hope it's ok) Here it is, first time published and presenting the chords I felt were appropriate. First link is for pdf preview, second is a zip that has also the musescore editing file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/e8u33y0d7oo981k/RBRNCENTER.pdf?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/7a6uow8dej7hauo/rbrncenter.zip?dl=0
