[monthly] mostly a health update (Patreon)

first, let's get the usual out of the way. for lovely new patrons who've pledged during the month of december:

• everyone's been added to the credit list, but please let me know if you want to be on there under a certain name
• supporter status has been added to accounts where i could find an account via email so if you find yours was not found please find me and let me know
• trainer name stuff has been handled

so in my last post i talked some big shit about getting stuff done despite being sick. this was, apparently, what we call in the business, 'foolish'. it's not that i haven't done anything since that post... but i sure haven't done much.
most of my days in the past week have been like

• wake up
• go into the living room
• stare at my computer and click around to try and do things
• slowly devolve into staring into the middle distance accomplishing nothing
• realize that i'm just staring at a wall and decide to take a nap so i can try again when i'm more alert
• rinse repeat

that's been the case until basically a couple days ago, incidentally about when my voice started to come back. i can now mostly talk again!! unfortunately marcello flew back home to the UK yesterday so we will not be having the stream with him live here like we planned on :<

and like, believe me, i'm upset about it. the timing for me to get sick really couldn't have been worse.
like it's actually kind of pathetic because-
and i've complained about this on the discord server already but i'm gonna do it again here-
the Folks had to take me into urgent care almost a week ago because stuff started getting bizarre. in addition to the fever, losing my voice, etc, my tongue was turning strange colors and shapes, and my eyes were beginning to leak fluid.
but when they tested me at the clinic, i tested negative for everything like flu, strep, etc.
so basically i got all this from a normal cold.
i had pink eye. and i still don't know what's up with my tongue.
how the fuck????

anyway, fortunately the antibiotics they gave me cleared my eyes up in like a day. my ears are still messed up for some reason, but at least i'm operating at like 3/5 senses instead of the 1/5 i was at for a bit there.

and in the mean time i'm still kind of staring at the wall half the time so i hope everyone will continue to be patient with me as i get back on top of stuff. there's a lot i'm hoping to do in january but ugggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh.

normally i wouldn't make a post just for a health update for a fucking cold like this but, since it also has to concide with the monthly organization stuff... man idk.
here, i've still been working on this and there's still a lot to do, but have another WIP shot of the kharniga keep concept art so that this post at least has some content in it
