[Rewards/Recap] so much stream they callin' me a river (Patreon)

hello! we'll do this quicker today-- for everyone who pledged in january, i gotchu set up on the accounts, the credits, the all that. if you want a certain name on the credit list, let me know. everything else is set and squared.
and as usual for those in the higher level tiers, let me know if you want to call something in.

great, let's move on. so, for some reason, it's february, and january was a long-ass year. i was dead for most of it? despite that, in january, we:

• fixed the whole-ass website after a weekend-long flatulence 
• took a bite out of gen 8 spriting by doing all the starters+evos 
• finished the kharniga keep concept art for starlight 
• implemented combat forecasts in starlight 
• finished two legendary quests, and got another started 

eh? wait? that's not bad? we got that all done even though i didn't exist for the first half of the month? could it be i'm actually a productive and functional human being? s-senpai no, don't say such things, you'll make me blush.. baka...

still, if you pay close attention to your surroundings you may notice that the past doesn't actually exist and is simply a collectively agreed-upon narrative supported by electric circuits in the meatcushions inside our skulls.
but the future?
that's real shit.

let's talk about some things that are happening in the future. you've already guessed it from my unquestionably brilliant post title that will definitely not get me punched-- or should i say punched-- but i got streams for ya. there is a lot of visual work coming up on my plate on both fronts: for reborn, all of the gen 8 sprites, legendary mapping, animations are a thing that still exists... for starlight, i've started making overworld sprites, gotta get combat models going, tiles can be done, UI pieces are a thing....

basically, i've got enough to do that i can safely say that even though i don't know what, specifically, i'll be working on in a few weeks, it is probably safely going to be something that i can show you, and so i can commit to this ahead of time.

in a kooky new attempt to function like the consistent person that i amn't, all of these streams will be at 3pm on Saturday. click that link to see when that is in your timezone.
the streams will be:

• February 8th, 3p -- Legendary Quest Mapping for Reborn
• February 15th, 3p -- Overworld Spriting for Starlight
• February 22nd, 3p -- ???????????????? TBA

and not the 29th even though that exists this year because we've got staff meetings for the site then.

so we got the past down, we got the future down, you know what that leaves. some say the present is a gift, i say it's a thursday. how are things currently?

the biggest focus right now is the unit summary screen on starlight, and it's going pretty well. i'd say i'm about halfway done with it overall since making new UI assets tends to take extra time... but i am hoping to be done by saturday.
that's not going to happen.
but i am still hoping. 

maybe one of these saturdays?
