overworlds, sephany combat model, and anime stream tonight!! (Patreon)

we have some Assets

let's start here-- Nova has an OW sprite

oh look, another OW sprite! this one is for our generic Sowar guard lady!

...very hard to see on patreon's bloody bright white background. rest assured, it looks great in a non-eye-melting context. but this one does not come alone!

the base sprite here is made by our newest addition to the dev-squad, crimson! you may have seen her in the community lately generally brightening up the place! she also helps out on insurgence from time to time. we have poached her spriting capabilities for our purposes here, and i feel very lucky to have her!

although the OW sprites are a small piece of a much larger picture, i feel as if my immediate workload has lightened substantially..........

crimson isn't our only newest addition, but the other one has been mentioned on the patreon server already, and we'll talk more about that tomorrow.

in the mean time, sephany:

her combat model has been colored, shaded, cleaned up, rigged and animated!

...i say animated, but she is chained to that pole behind her, so it's not like she's really going to be doing much. she has an idle animation for instance, but..

all she can do is endure it with patience and dignity. and by golly, she will do that.
and hopefully someone will save her before she's killed here.
(hint: that's your job)

--

friendly reminder that we are hosting a stream of the anime movie Promare tonight at 9p MST!  we'll be streaming it through our discord server, so be sure to hop in if you wanna catch the hangout with us!

we'll also make a role on the server for folks who want to be pinged for anime streams in the future.

there is not a development stream tomorrow, but there will be another post tomorrow talking about stream plans, reborn, and other things.
