legendary tiers and screenshots from a newly finished quest (Patreon)

so i finished another quest today! the one we worked on on the stream. honestly super happy how it turned out. screenshots will be at the bottom of this post because people who write things on the internet gain life energy from making you scroll.

that means there's six left in the tier!
but wait
last time i posted i mentioned the tier thing only to be slapped in the face by the cold hard reality that i never actually told y'all about the tiers haha whoops

so let's do that now.

when you get to post game, you finally earn your legal legendary-hunting license (no that's not a real thing sh)-- but do we just turn you freely into the open world and let you sweep up legendaries however and whenever you want ?? ...well, that might be interesting if the levels could be adjusted properly-- but no !

instead, you'll have access to a few quests at a time, and once you clear all of the available quests, more will open up. just like the pokemon catching structure of the entire rest of the game, we do not hand you gible right after the second badge-- you must start with the street trash and work your way up.
...well it's not quite as potent here where you've already got all your fully trained pseudos and many pokemon are better than a fair breadth of legendaries but that's fine, the point is you gotta get through your lake spirits and golems before you get the box legends.

it's also been more helpful for development. segmenting quests out like this means it will still be feasible to let characters develop through some of them, should that happen. linearity is great for writing, don't you know? but you still have flexibility in how you tackle things.

so, we've split all the legends into 8 tiers. currently, we're on tier 3-- the first two were finished during starlight development. and tier 3 is actually the largest one in terms of number of individual quests, with also 8 total within it. 

i won't be confirming which legendaries are in each tier generally because i want to leave an aspect of surprise for that within the given quests, but as far as our planning for postgame and milestones go, just know that we're  3/8.
