Fridays are my animation review days. The above image is a Volt Tackle that we finalized. it's pretty awesome/10. ty mde.

too bad no one is ever going to use that move lol...

yesterday i also did the intro for DPTG and reworked how i intend to structure the game-- meaning a demo is definitely doable now. i'll probably be splitting more time with that so that I can at least get something out there to start that isn't like, you know. illegal.

also started got started on mapping tourmaline in more detail, and golly do i already regret making it so big. there's.... many cliffs. sooooo many. it'll take a while. this is probably gonna have to be a team effort. what i started doing a couple episodes ago was laying out the maps' cliff patterns and then having inuki or ikaru finish out the cliff patterns (since they take forever, but are not very involved). i just have to hope they don't run screaming at how big the map is................

I have to say, there’s a small bit of irony in the fact that you’re pushing to release a demo of a game built around one’s depression, self-hatred, and suicidal thoughts on a site designed around having other people support you all because your main project is, as you said, “illegal”. I guess the main problem with the desert is that you’ve decided to create a single map for a region that, realistically speaking, is as big as the entirety of the Carnelia Region (Agate, Routes 3-4, Calcenon, Labradorra, the 3 mountains, and whatever’s left to map in the upper right corner of the world). Even the Wastelands which, while similarly big in scope, only takes up half the room that Tourmarine will take. So I’m not really surprised you’re struggling with it in general. At least the others you could do in chunks :P

hey now, the average person needs around 14.7mg of irony intake daily. it's not that much of a struggle though; it's just A Very Lot. although to the piece about doing it in sections even with most other places broken up into smaller maps I make the whole area in one big map first, and then cut it into smaller pieces. works muy besto that way
