Another Mask for the first area. Pesky little thing. Gross, too. I really hate insects-- but that's exactly why I have to sprite them, to build disgusting things into these enemies.

A couple quick screens of the major steps

And then blend to what we see above.

Three more Masks to do for this first area.

Unless I'm forgetting something, for both DPTG and Starlight, you're currently posting what you already have so that us folk on Patreon can be up-to-date with the current development of these games, right? I'm curious though, how do you divide your time between the three games? I assume Reborn gets the bulk of your time, since it's the one currently being released, but do you work on the other two when you're disinterested in working on Reborn? Are there some days where you work on DPTG/Startlight more than Reborn? I ask because while it isn't uncommon for game developers to have more than one game on their back burners, it's interesting to hear how much focus you put on them because of the fact they're on back burners.

the Masks i've been posting within a couple days of finishing them, so those are current work. the Nightmares were previously done except Logic, which I posted when I finished. i still have more previous stuff to post though. trying to keep to one post per day so i neither fall behind nor burn myself out. the starlight stuff i'm posting currently is all previously finished work since most of the work i am currently putting into that project is not stuff i can show off (spoilers galore and a lot of text concept without tangible assets to back it up-- but necessary planning nonetheless) time management is NOT my forte, but i've found i do best with it when i just let myself do whatever i want to at the given time. usually that's reborn since i'm most interested in direct progress. i have definite 'starlight moods' that i abuse though. DPTG is rarely a direct focus, rather i tend to default to it when i don't have the will to do anything in particular, or when i'm just watching/listening to something since i can sprite at the same time.
