Patreon Housekeeping-- Updated Goals and Rewards tiers! (Patreon)
Content
To save you guys the trouble of scanning for the changes, let me point them out for you.
In the goals department, I just added a couple more drawing the road forward, and it is an ever long one to walk. A $1200 goal will allow me to reinvest money for commissions etc, and a $1500 goal would put me at earning my state's minimum wage. It'd be like an actual dream career! I hope you all will stay with me all the way because it is a pleasure to have you. <3
As for rewards, here's a quick list of what's changed. A lot of is not much different but rather clarifying what goes on back here:
- Level 1- Officially committing to daily update posts. I mean... y'all know I've been doing this already but when I started I wasn't sure if it was a habit I could reliably keep so I refrained from listing it. I'm doing okay I think. I dropped last Sunday for Easter but I think the world can forgive holidays.
- Level 3- Solidifying this to weekly patron streams and a tutorial per month. The latter, I have already been reliably doing so this puts it in writing. The former is... close. It's like weekly-ish, but weekly is what I shoot for. It may continue to be hit or miss depending on the pace and content of developments. ...B'sides, if it gets to be too long I miss you guys ;~;
- Level 10- Removed the detail about exclusive design posts. Since I'm often talking about that kind of thing anyway, it felt weird to me to arbitrarily decide that everyone can see this post, but only Level 10+ can see another. Clarified the feedback query approach. Y'all are still my focus group.
- Level 50- Dropped the social media piece because although other creators do that kind of thing, having it as a reward felt forced and out of place to me. Expanded the other piece to apply to hanging out in stream calls and such too, if interested.
- Level 100- I didn't really expect anyone to take this up but magic is real and the world is full of miracles so I wanted to do something extra for it. Removed the double credit mention since that felt forced too (albeit inspired by a particular discussion I had with a past donating fan). Clarified the mod support reward and added one to create assets for a custom personalized character over time.
Whew! That's it! Thank you guys so much for being here and with me on this. I've been really, really enjoying development lately and I recognize I am incredibly blessed to have you all to enable it.
Stream later this week. Will probably announce tomorrow.
In the meantime I have a duel to the death with javascript at sundown. Don't worry-- I'll be back safe and sound before supper's ready.
