four.
and that's it for this morning's post, cya kids!
nah. even though i've only done a handful of tiles for DPTG since the stream, posting some is probably better than none at all.
mostly i've been focusing on the scrapyard but on the starlight front, i took some time to redesign part of a previously-drawn character (though i haven't posted him here yet), started outlining the world map (!!! it's been years since i've done reborn's and that was hand-drawn. feelin' like doing it digitally is gonna be a superlot easier), and found a new character i gotta write in to the cast and story.
when it comes to things like that i really think of it less and making characters and more like finding them-- because a lot of the time when i'm looking for that kind of thing and settle on it, it just seems to like, fit, as if it were a puzzle piece that had been missing and left the story feeling empty in that spot.
in this case i noticed there were several holes-- i needed another person from a certain city, an officer to one character, the ex of another, and then i realized that one character who was missing a relevant mother could certainly benefit from one. all of these loose ends wrapped up into one character and i suddenly knew everything about her that i needed to. that's usually how i know it's on the money.
and who knows, maybe there really is a Hell out there and i'm just telling its story through the traces of it i get in my dreams.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
