MAP part 21 - Catified Arcane

Couldn't resist joining this project and get a chance to animate characters from my all time favourite show, huge thanks to Hiro for having me! • ✧ • It may be a short one but I went all in and spent a crazy amount of time on every detail; so worth it and learnt a lot! I don't do a lot of effects animation which was fun, this was my first time rotoscoping a 3d prop and I put a lot of effort into adding texture to the hair by hand (using an airbrush pen) as well as shading every single frame by hand too! No copypasting, character animation is fully relying on 2D and the gun was hand drawn over the 3D model and then tediously inbetweened ── • ✧ • ── 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧- • Characters Jinx & Vi from Arcane (animated series) • Programs : Clipstudiopaint, Procreate, Nomad sculpt & After Effects • Characters are animated at 2's / 12 FPS Effects are animated on 1's / 24 FPS • No clue how long it took in total but somehwere between 50 - 70 hours if I had to do a rough guess • Song : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rtWmfBynKY • Map call : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZGvNhk4Zps&t=2s ── • ✧ • ── 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧- !This video material is copyright protected; Reupload/edits/reactions using this material is not permitted regardless of credit & will be copyright striked! ── • ✧ • ── 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗦- • Patreon : https://www.patreon.com/louixie Joining my patrons give you frequent posts ranging from wips, storyboards, tutorials, speedpaints and much more!
