Optimus Prime (Patreon)

I made a very simple Optimus Prime artwork, inspired by the unfortunate passing of a legend, Peter Cullen, the original voice of the leader of the autobots.

Maybe this isn't quite the kind of art you're expecting here, but it's something important to me. And for those who are interested, here are some words I typed down. Our usual programming returns tomorrow. Thank you.❤️

I have no words for this, even if I knew that this day would come sooner or later, but I'll try my best. Today was a very rough day, especially after finding out about the passing of one of my biggest heroes of my whole life.

A person whose words have inspired me to always be a better person, to do my best for me and for the people. Even if there were only a few occasions when I have allowed myself to express how important Optimus Prime and Transformers in general are to me, I will never stop being so grateful and proud to share this huge passion along with a person like Peter Cullen, who gave all his best, his strength, love and passion for this character and for the people around the world. Maybe I never got to know him personally as much as I wished, but he was and he is gonna remain in our hearts, and he will lead us to a brighter tomorrow, till all are one.

Be a good person, help the others, smile, cry, get angry, but never throw hate. As Cullen said, be strong enough to be gentle. Let's just be human beings, as we only own one life and each other's company on this small blue planet. Let's make the stay worth it.

Rest in Peace, Peter Cullen.
