Same. And I'm in my mid 40s with an 8 year old daughter. I doubt I'll be the 1st pick when the only jobs are picking fruit. I'm fucking terrified and so, sooooo angry at all of these smarmy shit stains ushering us into that place. I have to push back about what Dad said about “there is no movement” to fight facism. Might be hopeful thinking, but I’ve seen a push for a Matriarchal ideology to take control. It is basically the antithesis to capitalism, but it would require more than women and LGBTQIA+ to push it.

There’s no such thing as an AI researcher these people train AI models the researcher title is complete nonsense. The “AI might kill us all” is a false flag to angle for a government bailout because even the AI companies know this bubble is going to pop. Instead of “too big to fail” it will be “too dangerous to fail.” My fear is that the Dems and republicans are so bought and paid for by the same people that it will be the bailouts of 2008/2009 all over again. Another opportunity missed, another way for things to get shittier.
