Hunter x Hunter Master List

Pariston is the reason the Ant situation escalated so far. He purposely didn't send Hunters Morel requested to deal with Ants like Cheetu and Leol. He's also connected to missing Hunters and Cowman thinks he has other underground criminal ties. Netero picked him purposely because he's a troll who likes to cause problems on a large scale.

Ging only fears one thing in this world and that's talking to his son

The disappearance rate of pro hunters has been multiplied by ten-fold since Pariston became vice-president. Hunters dying is pretty normal but disappearing without trace? That's very abnormal. Cheadle also said in an earlier episode that she believes he has serious underworld connections. And as we saw, he has a very manipulative/twisted personality. I think all these reasons combined are why him leading one of the most important and powerful organizations in the world is such a problem.

Also, Pariston is now in possession of the thousands of human-ant soldiers that were in those weird trees at the palace. Is someone with his own personal army of superhuman slaves a good person.
