I can only imagine the disappointment after seeing belaf turn into this huge beast, then they step in and turn into some questionable blobs. Getting shafted.

Aside from the motives behind Wazukyan's actions and taking a deeper look at the fact that they were consuming the babies to survive: I take that the author purposely made this symbolism so that we could see ourselves in it, a parallel to real life - the perception of eating the babies is often shocking to the fans, but we forget that we actually predate from pretty much every eatable species on earth. In a way we have that in our instinct and taken into a similar situation we would probably do the same to survive...

After learning Vueko's story, the ED makes alot more sense. Vueko saying " i just don't want to forget about her" Is a great transition to the ED. Pay attention to the lyrics. Amazing episode

Well it's based on their desires evidently so it's what they really wanted to be 🤷

Pretty sure Faputa ripped out her right ear and one of her right arms.

Now it makes sense why Belaf wanted Mitty, a source of food that would live on forever that saved him from having to kill... and why he eats through his eyes now.
