About the joke of the name, Megumi in Japanese means blessed or blessing, at the beginning Megumin says that Crimson demons usually have weird names, that's why her name with N at the end seems weird to the characters, it's as if instead of someone calling "david" for example, they were called "davida". In jjk in the Toji vs Geto fight, Toji says that even though geto is blessed for having cursed energy he still loses to someone without, that's why he remembers Megumi at that moment, because the meaning of his name is blessed

The megumin joke btw is just the n after Megumi. Her clan all just have silly goofy names that are either nicknames for certain names, or just random wacky af sounding names that dont mean rlly anything. Megumin’s clan is just known to have funny goofy names and to have weird goofy naming sense but are like the strongest mages you can ever find.
