The June stream was very awesome, y’all continue to do wonders.

Mushoku Tensei is very interesting anime. C'mon you are watching Konosuba rn, what can be more pervy

ALex alex

mushoku tensei is like the best isekai and if im correct it was the first isekai the one that implemented the bases for all the others people say u guys wont like it because the fanservice but i agree morgan hates with her soul fanservice

halcyon

Yeah imo easily one of the best the genre has to offer. That being said, it's not for everyone and if you know how these girls feel about certain tropes/topics you know it's not something easily recommended

blood_drac

Bro konosuba is way worse than mushoku tensej. There's like no boobs in mushoku tensei

Kevin

I think jobless reincarnation is amazing but it’s way pervy in a much more messed up away

ALex alex

dude we already know what is the problem in mushoku Big age gap they already watched oshi no ko is almost the same thing but mushoku is a lot more explicit

Crofo

I’ll hop onto the MT debate train: the show is a masterpiece, but I really don’t think the ReactPack will enjoy it. The characters, world-building, animation, and plot are all top tier, but you have to accept the fact that the main character is simply a despicable human being. Even though his journey of self-improvement is amazing, it doesn’t change the fact that he was a pedophile and sexually assaults/harasses underage (or loli-esque) female characters. Getting through that part of the anime to reach the growth afterwards is a big hurdle, and I don’t fault anyone who isn’t willing to stomach it

I think if they gave Mushoku Tensei a chance they could enjoy it. Most of the fandom hates the main character but in a strange way it's still entertaing to watch the story from his perspective. The creepy parts of the show mainly relate to him and Paul tbh.

CocainCowboy

They don’t put in a good light. They make it painfully clear protagonists is in the wrong, & throughout the series he grows & matures. He does 1 questionable things but pays the price for it immediately. & he has the hots for his 40 year old teacher. Only S1 is like this & the entire story spans his entire life from birth to death so they’re only kids in S1.

ALex alex

i mean roxy was like 50 years when they met she looks exactly like aqua in age so idk if that counts as asaulting a loli , rudeous was 40 but he was a neet for like 18 years so its almost as if he got stuck in highschool level of consciousness or at least thats what i understood the show was trying to explain. he didnt do any perv shit with sylphiete unless u count that thing in the bathroom but that was bc rudeous tought she was a male after that i dont remember rudeous intentionally doing anything to silphy. the only real problem i see is Eris, i was trying to explain the problem but i just cant tbh i doubt they can watch the eris rudeous relation. i think if the MC would have offhimself at like 16 in the OG world instead of rotting in his room till 34 all the people who have a problem with the show would instantly be ok

Crofo

I’ll absolutely defend the right for problematic art to exist and be good, but I really don’t like sugarcoating it to draw people to the series. Yes, Roxy is legally/mentally an adult, but she has the body of a prepubescent girl, to which Rudy explicitly says “I’m the kind of man to appreciate that”. Sylphie is indeed the least problematic of his love interests, but you also have to remember that he planned on grooming her to be his “ideal wife” from when she was like 6. Even though that never came to pass, it would have if fate hadn’t intervened. Rudy’s trauma absolutely explains his stunted emotional state and maturity, but I think it’s going too far to say that he’s still mentally a kid. That kind of excuse is something the real-life “minor-attracted-people” (please note my derision at the term) claim to justify their perversion, and it’s just as ridiculous here as it is in reality.

ALex alex

i watched the show like 4 years ago so i dont remember all that lol but yeah i also think art is art and we have live action movies with those topics like the one with natalie portman, but people are okay with IRL movies for some reason but yeah even tho is probably the best isekai ever made thereactpack wouldnt like the fanservice scenes and perv mind of the MC but i understand people who just watch shows for fun and not complicated topics i myself cant watch yaoi animes even tho there are good ones like yuri on ice i couldnt watch it btw i dont even think rudeous has that preference he is just a pervert we can specially see that in season 2 where he completely forgets any lust for ,well, that age people, and he marries someone his age. english isnt my main language so maybe im not expressing my opinion right

MeYouIt

"One questionable thing" lmao, The reason his family "betrayes" him or whatever it is he says is that they caught him watching child porn and kicked him out of the house. Dont react to the pedo anime please.

CocainCowboy

Found the weirdo no one wants to be around. Really hope you were as fake outraged with chainsaw man: denji’s 16 The Boys: murder, SA etc etc HoD: murder, SA, incest, & pedos Heavenly delusion: Murder, SA human experimentation My dress up darling: pedos Oshi no ko: pedos You’re definitely the where’s my hug guy. & it’s always the ones making these grand stands that you gotta watch out for 👀

CocainCowboy

Roxy doesn’t look pre-pubescent she just isn’t curvy. Would you call the vast majority of Asian women pre-pubescent looking ? not my ‘cup of tea’ but bodies come in all shapes & sizes. His plan with Sylphi is weird & unhinged but that was before he reconciled with his trauma. Main thing I really fault him for is ironically Eris who’s the most independent & head strong of the main cast. Whether it was when she was asleep in the barn or the final ep of S1 he was undoubtedly wrong & deserves no sympathy in either scenes.

Vis

Except in chainsaw man Makima is literally the villain, and in the Boys and HoD the ones doing the SAing are painfully clear the bad guys. In Mushoku Tensei the protagonist is the pedo lmao.

MeYouIt

I really dislike the sexualization of children period, but its especially bad when it is presented as being understandable and sympathetic. I don't want to be normal if that's weird lmao. Instead of getting defensive, you should do some introspection.

Marcus

"Found the weirdo no one wants to be around" Id argue the weirdo no one wants to be around is the one watching the anime with the pedo protagonist but hey different point of views I guess lol. But I guarantee you most people outside the anime community would find you a major weirdo if you said you watched something with a pedo protag... And like the others said in most of those examples its done by a clear villain that are very clearly despicable degenerates (except my dress up and Oshi no ko, both of which are also garbage). Getting so defensive over it makes you sound like a proper creep.

CocainCowboy

It'd be weird if I were defending the actions I've yet to see anyone in good faith make an argument that what Rudy did was okay. I'm just not self-righteous enough to attack people for understanding that it's a fictional story & that he's rightfully portrayed as a weirdo by the author. Heaven forbid someone change & grow as a story progresses. Imao let's just hang them & wipe our hands. Ch.1. Wait what? Whether it's done by the protagonist or antagonist is completely irrelevant; the fact that it's in the anime/ manga is the issue. In what world is something tolerated only when it's done by a deplorable person? Lmao Did yall really just make that argument? Does the industry have a pedo problem? Absolutely, hence why I don't watch weirdo yaoi shi, have a hard time making it through Made in Abyss. But if you're clutching your pearls that tightly, I’d really hope you stopped supporting the entire industry since none of them are calling each other out; they're all culpable to an extent. Either that or get your head outta your ass & lighten tf up. It’s a fucking story. @MeYoult @marc "The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
