I can’t wait to see my guy Nagi develops this season. I’m expecting major things for him.

The animation (not the art, I’m talking bout the animation) has definitely taken a step down. But I firmly believe that the story still carries the show for show can’t wait for u guys to see the u20 match.

I know a lot of discourse has been going about the quality of the animation this season. But I still very much enjoy Blue Lock. I hope you ladies find this enjoyable as well. If only a little bit.

Lol okay ..

yeah the feedback on the animation is fair enough. the problem of this season is the very tight schedule since they had to work on this for less than a year after the movie, mostly cos of the higher-ups in kodansha/bandai namco rushing the studio's deadlines to make sure the anime is out while the manga is still getting high sales, which is really just upsetting cos the u-20 match is a really great arc. i'd say this season has better compositing and art compared to season 1, and the soundtrack + voice acting is still fire but it's really just the animation that's lackluster. tho in my opinion, it's only episode 2 and a bit of episode 3 that's a hard + confusing watch, and they do show steady improvements in the episodes in terms of leg movement/running scenes even if it's quite minimal. so hopefully the rest of the season continues with that increase in quality, even if its bit by bit. anyway i had fun watching this reaction, and i hope you guys still get to enjoy the season regardless! i'm excited for you guys to see the next episodes too :D
