The joke with the cool looking guy always spitting random wisdom is that it was revealed earlier that he is just a tailor and and has no adventurer background. He just happens to look badass and say dramatic shit which kazuma digs cause it feeds his fantasy of being a main character.

Tranquility Girls are actually nice ways to kill yourself if you're old or infirm or terminally ill. If I recall correctly they make you feel happy and content, and feed you good tasting fruit which doesn't have any nutritional value, so you eventually just starve to death without pain, before they eat you. Not really a bad way to go.

I’m so happy you all are speed running this. Watching live we had season 2 wrap up in 2017 and got the debut for season 3 in… 2024. Tbh it was worth the wait because this is the best season for both comedy and animation.
