Crofo

The Vanir mask kinda confused me as well, as the negative emotions line really indicates that maybe he was kinda possessed, but it was also just increasing his athletic performance, so idk. Still fun to see Kazuma shine for once

Key

It was even worse in the light novel kazuma used freeze when the water was down mistuguri’s throat he was trying to take him down for good 😭😭

Adam Smith

I think the mask if just a placebo and Kazuma got to show off what he can actually do when he's not being nerfed by Aqua's insanely bad luck.

Made Putra

iirc, Vanir did mention that the mask improves blood flow when he gave it to kazuma which explains why he was saying he felt in top condition this episode. i always assumed the rest was just that feeling getting to Kazuma's head rather than any sort of possession from the mask.

Jonno

As I understand it the Mask is more of a Placebo. Kazuma is a high luck character but that gets nerfed around his low luck teammates. Plus when around others he cant use Life Drain to Fuel his abilities cos its a Lich spell. He really does have a good tactical mind though
