A detail that is easy to miss is that Melts choreography in ep 6 was ad-libbed: as Abiko-sensei said, she drew it like that in the manga, but they didn’t include it in the play because they didn’t think it was possible to do by a real life actor. But Melt read the manga and worked insanely hard to be able to pull it off in the play. That’s why in the backstage he’s apologizing for the ad-libbing.

Y'all are pumping these reactions out quickly, and I'm here for it! As much as I love the Tokyo Blade arc in the manga, the anime went above and beyond with the play. The character study, the animation, even the framing of the audience perspective, this part of the show is incredible.

I will die on this Hill, but the dynamic between Kana and Akane are on the same level as the best Duos in anime like Naruto+Sasuke or Goku+Vegeta. This is such a good Characterwriting

These two episodes have been amazing, love the depth of character that they are showing. Especially Melt, a characters that I thought was a one-off. But in one episode he has also become one of my favourite characters of the show.
