Bruh, the animation is this episode was so sick nice. Jin-woo is a cold piece of work. That intro to the new merch was always very dope. Cool design for the gear.

Cyrus_tha_Virus

Man we really needed Barca part of the shadow gang he was putting in WORK! Bro was holding his own in a 1v6. He fought Jinwoo, Igris, Iron, and 3 mages all at the same time and gave them a run for their money. Cool fact, whenever you see Iron do that red aura shout, that’s actually his ability as a tank. Essentially it’s a “Taunt” ability that causes the enemy to focus on him rather than the teammates. This was shown whenever he’d shout and Barca’s eyes would glow red meaning he would now focus on Iron.

Bill

I think Jinwoo needs to appeal to them to get some of the shadows. He only got Igris by convincing him to serve him so maybe he could have got Barca if he promised him to be able to battle tough opponents forever.

Caamm

Sorry if this has been answered already but any plans on checking Sakamoto Days out?

Aleister Crowley

the boss jin-woo has to face next is chris hansen

Caraxes🐐DT

Wouldn’t say that it means they not real just that they being controlled maybe?

MESHA

I commented about it and they said they’ll eventually watch it so it’s definitely on their radar

MESHA

Kim chul wanted to Kill jinwoo so since yall forgot the system tells him to kill anyone who threatens his life

Crofo

While I can't say the story or characters have been particularly deep, the action and power fantasy are very well executed. I'm holding out hope that the hints of psychological consequences for the MC will be adding up to something meaningful. The addition of "Iron" has piqued my interest though...it looks like some sort of personality/insubordination was transferred when he was resurrected. I wonder if this necromancer skill just creates an imitation, or if he's actually capturing souls when he raises humans. That has some dark, and intriguing, implications. Anyway, loved your reactions as usual!

Seth-San

They cut out so much content from the manwha in what actually happened and certain scenes actually show deeper character development for sung drip woo but the action is fire in the anime. That’s my only gripe. Don’t know if this season will be a short one too. Wish the studio had time to make 24 episodes. But I’m happy with what we got, semi the same plot.

CocainCowboy

It’s funny watching peoples surprise at his ability to summon since he’s a Necromancer. It’s def a anime issue since they skip some stuff

Merv0309

Its going to be a 12 ep season, so unfortunately they will keep up this pace. But the action scenes are amazing, we just have to accept that certain scenes will be skipped in order to keep up this pacing.

Yea but it has 13 eps in s2, listed by Netflix, not 12 eps but rushing the pace for story is not good as it lacks to connect emotions to main character for audience like some funny scenes, some lines which characters talks by casuals etc else it feels fast pacing which I don't recommend, also I read manhwa by the way

Merv0309

Yeah I also read the manwha and I definitely agree. Depth of characters is definitely an issue. If you’ve read the manwha you atleast know the characters better. But for new watchers it takes away a lot.

Nuke XD

one funny thing they cut out is when Hunter Kim is counting to three, Jinwoo says four before throwing him lol, also that he threw hunter kim sword towards him to instigate an attack, so that way he could Kim as self defense, idk why they cut that part out

thereactpack

You should get a notification for it soon <3 -Sam

thereactpack

I remember the system did that with Kang & the other guys for sure! -Sam

NvR Carnage

The reason Kim was so upset when he saw them at the campfire having a good ole time was also the fact that he hadn’t eaten in 3 days also something the anime skipped

Alexiel

I think they explained last season that the size of the army he can control is limited, or rather the total strength of them. Thats why he had to "release" several of the normal soldiers before he even attempted to "recruit" Igris. But I guess he can control more now because he leveled up? Is this explained in the Manwha? (Without spoilers please)

Devi

He has a limit of how many soldiers he can have (at least in the beginning). it doesnt matter how strong a soldier is, it'll still count as 1 unit anyways. When he released those soldiers in the 1st season it was just because he wanted to

Alexiel

I see, thx

EVIL

the limit just goes up with his int stat. so more mana more soldiers. its not some crazy plotline

Brandon

i have a theory that jinwoo loses his humanity the more he powers up

Tim See

Yeah, there's a lot of subtleties that gamers know and they're not really told but hinted at (taunt is only even said in episode 5 of S2)

Tim See

Baruka (phonetically Barca) is the first (debated) S-rank that Jinwoo fights and defeats. Even Jinwoo knew at the start that with just him and Igris, they couldn't defeat him. Which is the kinda messed up part because he set up Kim to get killed. (It was shown when Jinwoo made the decision to use him as a shadow right after he said he's going to need someone to help him, only for it to pan out to Kim's sword.) One of the debatable parts of the show is "did he really need to kill him?" whereas the general consensus is that Kim was in an "enraged" state where he no longer was thinking straight and was going after Jinwoo with intent to kill him; so there was no other realistic option available.
