Are you guys going to watch origairu ovas those are fun.

MrGiamMY999

Yeah this show has a tendency to overdramatize everything, I too wouldn’t call their relationship codependency. I mean, they are just teenagers balancing for the first time friendship and love. Sure it’s not really good that they went on all this time ignoring what was happening and pretending to just be friends and everything is ok, but from that to call it codependency is a BIG jump 😂

Lukas

when i was there, the place where yui was crying in IRL had pictures of the scene posted onto that metal wall. It's a bit morbid but it kind of made me laugh

Jordan

Yes, i hope so. They are fun and the last OVA is a good „what happens after the main plot“ episode

Sekraan

I always wondered if this was a translation issue perhaps. Codependency is an extreme and inaccurate description of their dynamic, even if Haruno is purposefully being extra here.

Hannibal Ascencio

Personally, I think the last OVA is pretty bad. It really feels like just an OVA and, in my opinion, it undermines the ending and the characters. The first two, though, are really good!

Dorma

I think it's meant to be over the top because it's wrong. Like I think it's more that Haruno has an unhelpful twisted worldview due to what she sacrificed in her life, and thinks pushing that on Yukino is best for her. So she calls their attachment 'codependency' even though Hikki knows he can help Yukino without having her be reliant on him

RMS

It hurts to see Yui like this!

We watched all 3 after completing the series ! -Sam

it's not wrong. Codependency is definitely PART of their relationship. Especially on Yukino's end. I mean, she at some point started to no longer make any decisions herself, always looking to others to make them for her. She even started to just use Hachiman's words verbatim.
