"Senpai" does not always mean someone older but mostly someone more experienced(its just that one could argue that older=more experienced). Lemon meant she was more experienced in relationship stuff than him when she called herself his senpai.

two bits from the LNs that didn’t make it into the show: Komari is so flustered by Nukumizu’s half assed compliment in the bookstore that she calls it a “#MeToo moment”. After Nukumizu posted his story online Komari left a comment calling it “a virgin’s fantasy” lol

I don’t know where the story will go and it does feel like yanami and nukumizu are being set up to be endgame, but I really hope they all stay just friends. The story is about losing heroines, it’s a “what happens to the losing heroines in the romcoms after they get rejected”, so I feel like making them end up together kinda cheapens the theme of the story. If they absolutely have to end up together I’d at least like for it to happen after the end of the story, after the graduate high school maybe.

When you think about it, all these kids are so brave for putting their feelings out there even if they do it in very awkward ways. Komari especially :( I like the friendship group that’s forming, reminds me a little of Horimiya

Finally rewatching this show with you all and reminded this was one of my top 3 shows of that season. Makiene, Oshi no Ko S2, and Wistoria was a great summer trio Also we love our Student Council Zombie Gyaru

Also second season got confirmed fyi they did an anime only finale episode but they decided to give it a new season. It’s currently the best selling light novel by a lot
