So from my memory, this whole pool plotline literally never occurs in the light novel. They used some details from later on in the series too. Annoys tf outta me. They added a whole filler episode for fan service T_T

It happens in further along the story, for example the person who helped ayanokoji in the pool wasn't horikita but since they didn't flesh out the other character yet they replaced her.

Yeah this was the first show I was so disappointed by the adaptation I literally bought the books. I usually dont read LN but man the pacing was completely out of control here.

You do realize this is called a react right? Why shouldn’t they be entitled to give their thoughts on what is being shown? That’s literally the whole point. Besides they’ve seen enough anime to understand the generic filler episodes and satires, they even called it out as the obligatory beach episode just as it started. Plus that doesn’t mean they can’t feel some type of way, and they aren’t males so why would they force themselves to enjoy scenes they don’t like that is catered to the male audience like you say? You can’t feel privileged to gate-keep someone or some people from watching anime; especially one that was decided on by a poll from the viewers themselves, even if you yourself weren’t the one who chose it. Please have self awareness and understanding on what it means to give reacts 🙏🏿 As long as they enjoy the show in its entirety just be thankful as the audience that they’re reacting to it, no need to single anyone out for acting some type of way that’s within reason right?

Yeah the fan service sucks. I wish it was significantly toned down. Like obviously teenage boys would be doing some dumb shit but it's too much. Unfortunately the Japanese must love it since it's in sooo many anime

I remember watching S1 when it came out (2017 or something)and seeing these eps, S1 is a rough watch but def has some good moments/eps. Just keep pushing through React Pack, I’m shocked, I barely remember these fanservice moments but, when you get to S2, less fanservice (I think) and more of why people love COTE
